About the program.

The program is purposed to give a helping hand to Ukraine families fleeing the war.

Love Cradle Int. Refugee Program allows orphaned families to come to North America for protection and the opportunity to live a a new free life away from a war torn life. Together we/our communities, families care for the, as we share with them Christ’s love, changing their lives forever.

How it works.

1. Ukrainian refugee Families apply to come to the usa .

Prospective families complete pre-requirement application and are matched with a Sponsorship Team.

2. ARRIVING in the usa.

From the start of the application process to arrival in the USA can take 3-4 weeks, it can be a very quick process.

3. family joins the community.

The Sponsorship Team helps the family settle into the community. Helping with activating in-state registration, food programs, household need items and accomodation etc.

What is the LCI Refugee Program?

A humanitarian outreach to displaced families becasue of the war in Ukraine..

How does the program work?

It starts with the formation of a Sponsorship Team. The Team helps the family procure a refugee visa and helps them adjust to life in the US.

How are refugee families for the program selected?

LCI receives applications/requests. LCI then moves forward with a screening process to insure the request is genuine.

Aside from the refugee family coming to the USA, what else will be expected of me?

It is expected that Team Members will continue to serve as Team Members until the family has transitioned to life in the US. We encourage Team Members to continue in their friendship with the sponsored family even after the families transition.

What kind of training and support will the families receive?

LCI orientation and ongoing support in all areas.

What will the family do while they are here?

Find meaningful work and transition to a productive member(s) of the community.

What happens if a family member becomes sick during their stay?

Families will have medical coverage.

Is there a language barrier?

Possibly. Translation support and resources are provided to assist families. Translators are available at the group activities, and a list of translators is provided for translation help by phone at other times.

What kinds of volunteer opportunities are available in the program?

Volunteers are needed to help the family to appointments, food shopping, ESL, arranging outings, invitation to group diners/picnics etc.:

What are the financial obligations/expenses?

The program can be best described as a “Reverse Mission Trip”, the mission is coming to your home instead of you traveling to another country. . The program is supported by donations physical and financial donations.
